Guna Yala<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGunayala is an indigenous territory governed by the Guna people. This territory comprises a narrow strip of land on the Caribbean side of Panama and a group of 365 islands, of which only 50 are inhabited by the Guna.\n

\nThese islands are also known as the San Blas Islands and are considered an outstanding destination in Panama due to their well-preserved natural beauty, cared for by the indigenous Guna community.\n

\nThe guna are renowned for creating the famous molas, traditional weavings made from layers of elaborately colored fabrics that form patterns and images inspired by their cosmogenic beliefs. Molas represent the Guna vision of a colorful and mythological world, and are incredible and unique souvenirs.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The flag of the Guna Revolution adopted in 1925<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Guna people led a resistance movement in response to the oppression and colonial policies imposed by the Panamanian government.\n

\nThe flag of the Guna Revolution has three horizontal stripes: the upper and lower stripes are red, while the central stripe is yellow. Above the yellow stripe, an inverted swastika is represented.\n
